Last week....hmm..while thinking of new dishes to add into my LIM's cuisine recipe, mi hun kuei came across my mind...ya..i miz my hometown's mi hun kuei so much..n one day one of friend had mi hun kuei as her lunch..n i asked her hw to make it...10s for da inspiration and recipe, Callistro...n there i go...giv it a try..u guys hav bright eyes..SEE This:

What a day...

It happened 2 weeks ago...It was raining tat day..n me n sp were happily going to buy some groceries from Lim Chhour supermarket..(haha..i'm LIM oso..shud hav some relationship, next time tell them mayb gt discount)

When v were queuing to pay our stuff at the cashier counter, i noticed 1 gal standing at the entrance of the market. She looked quite pretty from far, well nt tat fall act..wat i'm trying to say is she's elegant. Then here start the conversation btw me n sp:

Me : Do u think that da gal is quite pretty?

Sp : Mayb gua.. but u know, she got put make up 1..if she didn't, her face would hav a lot of wrinkles 1..nt pretty la..i would say natural beauty da best..(like me)

After da conversation, 2 gals in front of us finished paying n left.. Nw was our turn..'Miraculously', i saw da 2 gals met up v da gal standing at da entrance..THEY ARE FRIENDS!!!!!OMG...they shud hav overheard our conversation...=.=llll....my part was nt tat worse..sp's 1 was so MEAN!!!haha...so embarassing!!!

When they left n v finished paying..headed back to empire..on da way thinking of buying some stuff from 1,2,3 dollars shop. Coincidentally, we bumped into them..Phew, sp n i quickly sneaked into da shop n tried to avoid eye contact v them..paiseh ma..

Finished paying at 1,2,3 dollars shop..well..walking bac home..AGAIN they were waiting at da traffic light..=.=lll..wat more to say!!!i asked sp to walk slowly..so tat...nv catch up v them..haha..

What a day!!tis taught us nv talking bad abt ppl...ya..Never Never...LOL

Sky Tower in Auckland

Ever since i came to Auckland to study, i havn't actually taken any pic of the proudness of Auckland--Sky Tower..juz recently, i managed to grab some nite view of this skyscraper..Interestingly, tis skycraper changes colour from time to time. These colours include red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple n etc..showing different physical appearance. One thing i'm quite ashamed of is tat i havn't gone up to the skytower to hav the breath-taking view...one day One day...i muz go up..any1 gt free voucher..Pls giv me.. :)

Lantern Festival

Auckland Lantern Festival was held annually in conjuction v Chinese Chap Gor Mei( Yuan xiao). I missed last year's Lantern Festival due to the fact that i was still in M'sia when it was 15th day of CNY. This year, i managed to hav a look at the Lantern Festival in Albert Park..it was a grand one...yea..1st time saw it..it was juz amazing..a vast variety of tang longs were glowing in the nite..ranging from 12 zodiacs to some legendary fame..Besides there r lion dances, stage performances, food stalls n small playground..Apart from tat, there r fortune-tellers too!!!u pay 5 dollars then he'll tell u everything tat u wan2 know..but..i did nt try la..poor me..NO MONEY leh...haha..

Home-cooked food

Starting tis year, i have to cook on my own..no more catered food..coz i oredi say bye bye to Ororke' hall..place where i stayed in NZ last year..Moving to a new place..totally feel different..different style of living..different in the case of distance to Uni..different ppl tat v met in da lift...ya so much difference...n i think i oso change into a different person..juz a little bit of changes i reckon..

Morning wake up...can't go down and enjoy my breakfast as i used to...as nw i need to prepare for breakfast la..no more sausages, scrambled egg, bacon, hashbrown, etc...as for a quick n easy breakfast..i prefer to hav bread v spread n a cup of hot milo..For me, v tat kind of breakfast, i'm satisfied..haha..sometimes..u can hav more choices..but u need to put effort in lor..mayb once or twice a week..

Lunch how to settle?...err..tat's a very tough question for me to answer u..as i oways dunno wat to eat..haha..so..takeaways(dabao) n noodles v soup are oways my choice..easy n full..hehe..

If u ask for diNNer..ya..gd question..i'm oways looking forward to dinner time..as i can hav more choices of food..n having a really home cooked meal..as mentioned above..i hav changed..i seldom cook at home..but come here..i only realised tat i can act prepare a proper meal as wat my mum did at home..2 vege, 1 soup, n rice..haha..i feel sorry to my mum..as i nv cook or help her cook at home during my 3-month holidays in yp..haha..wat i had done was juz stand there n tou shi(learning skill stealthily)haha..n yet i'm successful...haha..brilliant me..LOL
